NYC is facing a dangerous heat wave this week, with temperatures expected to exceed 100º.

Forecasted high temperatures:

  • Wednesday, July 1: 95°F (feels like 100°F)

We urge all our neighbors to prepare for the extreme heat, and during this period we are opening 3 of our locations in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn as Cooling Centers to help beat the heat. Find additional NYC cooling centers using this tool.

      • Wednesday July 1 and Thursday July 2: 9 AM – 5 PM

 

Lower Manhattan – open to neighbors of all ages

      • Wednesday July 1 and Thursday July 2: 9 AM – 5 PM

 

Lower Manhattan – open to neighbors 60+

      • Wednesday July 1 and Thursday July 2: 8 AM – 7 PM
      • Friday July 3, Saturday July 4, Sunday July 5: 10 AM – 6 PM
