Our volunteers are donors, corporate partners, past and current program participants, and neighbors from all over. Through an individualized approach we build unique and mutually beneficial partnerships that highlight your strengths, have a real impact on the communities we work with, and are made to last. Below are just a few examples:
- Conduct tours of your office and offer career panels for rising high school students
- Organize a back-to-school, winter coat, food, or holiday gift drive for our families, or gather essential items for newly arrived New Yorkers
- Support and join a celebration for children, adults, new mothers, or older adults with decorations, raffle prizes, or food
- Lead a workshop on the arts, personal finance, career development, or health and wellness for English learners, high school students, older adults, or tenants at risk of eviction
- Become an advocate for your neighborhood through letter writing, organizing and more
- Provide in-kind professional services or "loan" a professional for either a short-term project or something more expansive
- Run a fundraising campaign to support the organization’s work with 40,000 New Yorkers each year
