University Settlement is thrilled to be a charity partner for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on November 1, 2026.
After 140 years of partnering with our neighbors to fight poverty and systemic inequality, we know a thing or two about going the distance.
WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING 3 RUNNERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM. DETAILS BELOW:
- Guaranteed entry in the race
- Commitment to raise $5,000
- Warm-up workshop hosted by award-winning afterschool coach, Coach Lou
- Long-distance running mindset tips from our mental health team
- Opportunities to connect with other runners
- Your own custom fundraising page
- Individualized fundraising support including sample gift request language, one-on-one time with our fundraising team, and a social media kit
- University Settlement swag
- Team tour of our historic site on the Lower East Side designed by renowned architect, Isaac Newton Phelps Stokes, in 1899

- Free entry to the 8th annual LES 5K Revel Run hosted in the East River Park in October 2026
