Saving Little Eagles life, Brother Rabbit guides and assists Little Eagle on a journey to rediscover his potential using the tools of a Trickster Warrior. Throughout the play, Brother Rabbit reintroduces Little Eagle to his indigenous beginnings utilizing music, dance, and multi-media. Based on adaptations inspired by the classic Cherokee and African American tales of Brer Rabbit, The Rabbit Play is a raucous romp through the complex layers of race and social class in contemporary America, and a must-see for anyone who feels they are at the bottom of a social pecking order and must use unconventional means to achieve their objectives.
