Presented by The Performance Project The Construction Company has been bringing innovative performances to University Settlement for 45 years. This season, join US for A Trail of Irreverence, an evening that brings together the work of three distinguished artists. Dancer/philosopher Kenneth King returns to dance with a new solo dedicated to the late Frances Alenikoff. Sally Gross continues to break down the border between visual arts and dance in A Sonnet in Movement, featuring dancers Jamie Di Mare, Heather Lee, and Tanja Meding. Sally Silvers, who was both a student of Kenneth King and a collaborator with Sally Gross, continues to break the rules and invent witty movement phrases in a short trio and a new solo for dancer Carolyn Lord. |
