Check out our 2013 Spring Season!
University Settlement finds concrete ways to reestablish and articulate the importance of the arts within the education system and the community at large. We are committed to creatively incorporating artists into programming at University Settlement, including our after-school programs, The Door, the Houston Street Center and the Beacon. Artists can work with specific programs or age groups and propose participant workshops, professional development trainings, community events or interactive art making experiences.

Community-based artists Rachel Sullivan and Maggie Keenan-Bolger present a multi-media performance about the topic of female sexuality. The performance features a diverse cast and will be accompanied by a pre/post show visual art exhibit on female sexuality that includes the works of more than 10 artists from around the country. This event aims to provide an accessible, humorous, and poignant look at gender, sexuality and those who shape it...and most importantly, spark some conversations!
