As the first settlement house in the nation and for over 130 years, University Settlement has been empowering New York residents by building on their strengths through comprehensive, quality services that meet the current needs of the community; innovation that anticipates future needs; and advocacy to improve the community as a whole.
Park Slope North Child Development Center is in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn serving children from ages 2 to 5 years old. The center serves children from a diverse population of families. It is the ongoing mission of the Park Slope North Child Development Center to support children's development by appreciating individual differences, by helping them to live, learn and work cooperatively and by promoting their self-esteem as members of their families as well as our child care community. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive path to quality of knowledge, with safe, nurturing, educationally and culturally sensitive childcare.
