Administrative Assistant

Supervisor: Director of Early Head Start

The Early Head Start and Family Day Care program provides full-day home-based child care services to children ages 6 weeks to 4 years of age. Following Early Head Start & Early Learn program standards the program aims at providing comprehensive early childhood care and education including health, nutrition, and mental health. The Administrative Assistant is the foundation of the program and will provide overall office and administrative support to Program Director. You are energetic, friendly, organized, and passionate about details, and a team player.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Take charge of all administrative aspects of the program
  • Assist with organizing program events, workshops and meetings
  • Enter participants' information into Salesforce and maintain records
  • Maintain and manage staff qualifications and certifications in compliance with regulatory bodies and funder requests
  • Prepare materials and minutes for monthly program meetings
  • You have a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion

What We Are Looking For:

  • You have 2+ years experience working in an office setting
  • You are technologically savvy with fluency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
  • Associates Degree required

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Low 40s, plus generous benefits
