Clinical Social Worker

University Settlement's Mental Health Services offers high- quality therapy and treatment plans from culturally sensitive professionals and helps families avert the pain and grief that mental illness can bring. The Clinical Social Worker will provide therapy to an ethnically and culturally diverse population on-site and at home or community-based organizations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide therapy including behavior modification to a diverse population, ranging in age from 5 years through late adulthood
  • Conduct pre-admission screenings/intake assessments
  • Implement case management treatment plans
  • Provide therapy and assessments in office and using TeleHealth
  • Maintain reports, administrative and clinical records in accordance with OMH/DOH&MH standards
  • Facilitate intra/inter agency referrals, as necessary
  • Advocate for patients with other community based organizations and governmental agencies
  • Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, training seminars and individual supervisory meetings
  • Learn and utilize computerized treatment and billing programs
  • Other duties deemed necessary by the Clinical Director
  • Demonstrated ability to engage new and challenging cases
  • Function as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Responsible for meeting set productivity benchmarks

What We Are Looking For:

  • LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC; Master's in social work; SIFI is a huge plus
  • You have 2+ years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
  • You have 5+ years working with and treating families and children
  • Experience with time limited treatment approaches
  • You love working with people and are a relationship builder
  • You are organized and passionate about accuracy
  • You meet deadlines on time, all the time
  • A plus if you are Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Cantonese or Mandarin
  • You have a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Low to mid 50s, with a generous benefit package
