125 years ago, University Settlement launched an innovative movement that changed our city and country.  It has been thinking out of the box ever since.  At the core was this principle: to strengthen a community you must strengthen families.  And to strengthen a family you must provide a range of support and services. 

It's easy to forget that we all have many of the same hopes and dreams and the same problems.  But all families don't have the same opportunities. For families living with the stresses and limitation of poverty, life's challenges are often insurmountable.

Your gift will help continue our long and vital tradition to support a broad range of programs and services that are the cornerstone of University Settlement's work.  And, donors can be confident that your money goes where it is most needed: 92 cents of every dollar goes directly to help the incredibly determined families make a better life for themselves and their children.
