Atlantic Terminal Community Center

Atlantic Terminal Community Center – opened in January 2014 - joins Ingersoll as part of a dynamic duo in Brooklyn. Located near the Barclays, this site is a space for people of all ages. Free programming includes after-school and summer camp sessions, as well as intramural sports teams, fitness classes, and mentoring. The Center serves NYCHA residents as well as residents of the surrounding neighborhood.

Facilities includes a studio used for recording, classrooms and a multipurpose room that has a stage. Atlantic Terminal prides itself on programs for teens, youth and adults, including:

  • After-school services for kids aged 5-12 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Our after-school programs include homework help, dance classes, art classes, fitness and more.

  • Ballet classes for children aged 5-12 on Saturdays from 12 p.m.-2 p.m.

  • Media for teenagers on Tuesdays, 7 p.m., and Saturdays, 12 p.m. 

  • Community game playing during our evening center hours, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Hip-hop dance for teenagers/young adults (aged 16+) Wednesday nights, 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

  • Boot camp adult fitness on Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

All services are provided FREE OF CHARGE. Atlantic Terminal Community Center is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Check out the Center's Facebook page to stay up to date on activities.
