About the settlement summit
The Settlement Summit: Inclusion, Innovation, Impact, hosted by University Settlement Society of New York and New York University, is a first-of-its-kind collaborative conference involving the largest international gathering of settlement house workers ever held. Neighborhood center leaders and practitioners from all over the world will gather in New York City to celebrate the integrated, community-based, multipurpose design of settlement houses that has stood the test of time and continues to thrive. The week-long conference will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, research and expertise to help build capacity and increase collaborative strength as settlement houses across the globe further their work into the 21st century.
