Manhattan Borough President Stringer and CUNY Announce New Citizenship and Immigration Project

On Monday, September 18th, Borough President Scott M. Stringer held a press conference at University Settlement to annouce the creation of the Citizenship Services Project. This new project is a collaboration between the CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project and the Borough President's Immigrant Rights Task Force. Beginning in October, a professional immigration counselor will be stationed at the Borough President's Office every Wednesday from 9AM to 5PM to provide free advice and assistance to individuals on naturalization and immigration applications and other important matters. People can seek assistance by walking into the Borough President's office at 1 Centre Street, 19th Floor, or calling 212/669.3028.
